Course Founders
Evgeny Lebedev is the winner of an international jazz performance competition in Belgium, a prizewinner of the Montreux Piano Competition (Switzerland) and the Made In New York Jazz Competition (USA), and recipient of a special award from Billboard magazine. He is a graduate of Berklee College of Music. An active performing musician, Evgeny is also a member of the Moscow Union of Composers and a teacher at the Igor Butman Jazz Academy.
Alina Polyakova is a passionate music researcher and a devoted jazz enthusiast. Her long-standing interest in improvisation, jazz harmony, and rhythm has evolved into a true journey of exploration — seeking knowledge, sound, and freedom.
