Module 3. Swing / Module 4. Bossa Nova
The first module focuses on theoretical and technical analysis, as well as practicing the elements — chords and scales — that will form the basis of our future improvisations.
Module 1. Introduction
In Modules 3 and 4, we explore the styles of swing and bossa nova. We follow the same approach: studying the concepts, learning a prepared solo at two levels of difficulty, practicing independent composition skills, and then creating your own improvisation!
In the second module, we cover the main jazz chord progressions and improvise over the harmony of the blues chord changes.
