LRK Trio

LRK Trio is far from an ordinary jazz trio. Firmly grounded in the jazz tradition, pianist Evgeny Lebedev, bassist Anton Revnyuk, and drummer Ignat Kravtsov seamlessly blend elements of many other musical styles into their sound — both classical and contemporary.

The generous melodic richness leaves no doubt that this is an ensemble from Russia, drawing on the immense heritage of Russian musical culture. At the same time, their music is never museum-like — it always sounds unmistakably contemporary, music of the twenty-first century, yet firmly grounded in the powerful foundation of Russia’s world-renowned musical tradition.

From 2017 to 2020, the trio was among the most internationally exported Russian jazz ensembles.

Their touring routes have taken them through Belgium, the Netherlands, Poland, Estonia, Switzerland, the United States, Japan, Korea, Portugal, Germany, the United Kingdom, and Norway, along with performances at numerous festivals and concert venues across Russia.

The ensemble’s recordings are released in Russia by Butman Music Records, while internationally their music is represented by the Norwegian label Losen Records. In 2017, the album If You Have a Dream was named Jazz Album of the Year by the Russian Union of Music Critics, included in the list of recommended recordings by the Europe Jazz Media Chart, and earned the Russian ensemble the Special Jury Prize at the Made in New York jazz competition.

Who will turn out to be the next «Mr. X» is always a mystery with an unconventional solution. But whoever becomes the star of the LRK X Live project, one thing is certain — it will be surprising, musical, fresh, and effortless! The LRK X Live project has already featured artists such as Valery Syutkin, Ravshana Kurkova, Viktor Dobronravov, Igor Sarukhanov, Kristina Orbakaite, Teona Kontridze, Gayana, Egor Sesarev, and many others.

Evgeny Lebedev, Anton Revnyuk, and Ignat Kravtsov have established themselves as brilliant musicians, seamlessly combining jazz aestheticism with the artistic charisma of rock performers. The LRK X Live project represents an entirely new format at the crossroads of genres, generations, worldviews, and musical styles. As a result, guest artists can include not only singers and instrumentalists, but also theater and film actors, bloggers, comedians, and other exceptionally creative personalities.
